The recently organized Salary Study Committee of faculty, staff and administrators is asking Columbus State employees to respond to a brief survey seeking information about their roles at the university.
These findings will be combined with information provided by supervisors, as well as job descriptions on file, to appropriately classify and compare positions. Your response to this questionnaire is completely voluntary; however, we hope you will take a few minutes to respond. Employees may (1) print out the survey document [PDF] and respond by sending it to Human Resources via campus mail, or (2) create an email to hr@ColumbusState.edu offering this information
Dec. 9, 2011 is the deadline for submitting responses.
The committee’s consultants, Phillip Blount and Associates, will use information collected via the survey as part of its study of staff and faculty compensation. This will help them compare salary ranges for jobs at Columbus State University with peer and aspirant institutions, as well as the local job market, to determine if and where CSU has room for growth.
